Energy Litigation

Edinger Leonard & Blakley has represented clients in all aspects of energy litigation in both federal and state courts.   This includes actions by all of the various industry participants in the exploration, development, processing and transportation of oil and gas, whether they be mineral owners, producers, operators, non-operators, processors, saltwater disposal companies, or marketing companies. The firm has experience in litigating disputes over agreements between these various industry participants as well as litigation to enforce a variety of statutory provisions addressing the timing and method of royalty payments, spacing and pooling orders, and unitization agreements. Recently, the firm has been representing clients in prosecuting and defending claims that oil and gas leases should be cancelled for failure to produce in paying quantities.
