Jacqueline G. Stone

Jacqueline Stone is trial lawyer whose practice is focused on energy and natural resources litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. Her litigation experience includes the representation of plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of energy-related disputes and transactions, including quiet title and lease cancellations actions, class-action pollution and environmental claims, earthquake-related damages cases, as well as a variety of complex contract and tort disputes arising out of the oil and gas and other energy- production industries.

Prior to joining ELB, Jacqueline served as a career law clerk for United States Senior District Judge Lee R. West from 2003 through  2018.  In that capacity, she developed an expertise in legal writing and a deep working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil and Appellate procedure. She also gained broad experience with all aspects of federal civil litigation in a variety of contexts, with special emphasis on energy law, employment and civil rights law, bad faith insurance claims, copyright law, commercial contract claims, and the complex issues that surround Native American tribal sovereignty as it intersects with state and federal jurisdiction. Jacqueline also participated in a number of projects for the Tenth Circuit Historical Society and the Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University Law Reviews.
