David Herber

David’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, corporate law, insurance law, receiverships, and creditor’s rights.  David also works in the fields of employment law, franchise law, and business transactions. 

David earned his law degree in 2018 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he graduated with distinction. David was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review where he served as an Assistant Articles Editor and member of the Judiciary Committee. During law school, David served as an intern for Chief Judge Joe Heaton of the Western District of Oklahoma and in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Oklahoma.  Additionally, he worked as a Research Assistant for the Editor-in-Chief of the American Business Law Journal. In his final year of law school he was awarded the Salem Civil Rights Award for his writing on the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment.

Prior to entering law school, David worked for several years as a Field Representative in the District Office of Congressman Frank D. Lucas where he worked closely with local community governments and organizations within nine counties across central Oklahoma. Additionally, after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2011 with his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, David worked in the Franchising Department at the International Headquarters of Express Employment Professionals.
