Jason Reese is an experienced litigator in federal, state and administrative courts as well as an advisor to his clients seeking measures to avoid such litigation.  Jason focuses his practice in the areas of employment law and litigation, oil and gas, insurance law, business litigation and workers’ compensation.  Jason also has experience in the fields of immigration law and franchise law.
Jason began his legal career as Administrative Rules Counsel for the Oklahoma House of Representatives.  Moving into private practice in 2006, Jason was a monthly columnist for the Oklahoma Gazette for three years, covering state and local politics.
Jason serves as a Merit Protection Commissioner for the State of Oklahoma, appointed by the Governor in 2016.  He is an usher at Christ the King Catholic Church, a Board member of the Quail Creek Home Owners Association and a member of the Downtown Club and Downtown Oklahoma City Rotary Club 29.  He maintains his interest in state government by serving on the legislative committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel.  He has been honored by SuperLawyers by being named a “Rising Star” each year from 2011 through 2016. In 2017, he was named to the Journal Record's Achievers Under 40 list.  Jason regularly serves as a coach on baseball and soccer teams that include one of his four young children.  As a law student, Jason enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
After spending his first year at the University of Notre Dame, Jason earned his law degree from the University of Oklahoma, having previously gained his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma.
Jason is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma state courts, all three federal district courts in Oklahoma and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
