Ken Blakley is a senior trial lawyer whose practice focuses on energy, environmental, antitrust, and shareholder lawsuits. He is licensed in the states of Oklahoma and Texas and before all Federal Courts in Oklahoma and the United States Supreme Court.

For more than 30 years, Ken’s trial and litigation practice has been a unique blend of representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex cases across diverse industries. His practice includes not only hourly fee arrangements but a mix of contingency fee, fixed fee, value-based fee, and other “alternative fee” structures.  Ken is a Master in the William J. Holloway American Inn of Court and is recognized in peer-reviewed publications as a “Top Lawyer-Litigation” and a “Best Lawyer in America-Energy.” 

Ken’s energy litigation practice encompasses virtually every form of industry dispute including all facets of the oil and gas lease and industry agreements, including, operating agreements, drilling contracts, gas purchase contracts, midstream and transportation agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. He has extensive experience in representing clients in environmental and pollution lawsuits and administrative proceedings involving contamination to air, land, surface water and groundwater and related toxic tort cases.  Recently, he has been retained in the defense of several earthquake lawsuits in Oklahoma.  

Ken currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Oil and Gas Environmental Law in the Master of Legal Studies Program with the University of Oklahoma College Law and previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Oil, Gas and Environmental law with the University of Oklahoma Mewborne College of Engineering. He is a member of the Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Society and has presented at numerous seminars throughout his legal career.
